Nature’s Larder Launch Event

When Fiona and Pete approached me to help organise the launch for their new business Nature’s Larder, I knew that I wanted to get involved and help them to promote their ethical services. Their beautiful farm on the Chatsworth estate provided a welcoming countryside environment for the event which included a presentation, a tour, some relevant activities and tea and cake on the lawn.

Here’s Fiona story…..

“In August 2008 we launched our new company, Nature’s Larder, on our farm in the Peak District. We grow and dry herbs and cut flowers. We offer the full floristry service and courses in horticulture, floristry, craft and well-being. We also make our own range of herbal gifts which we sell through shops.

Jennie Beard was the event manager and we worked with her to plan a relaxed occasion which captured what we are about, inviting a range of small local businesses for the afternoon. There was quite a bit of planning involved and this is where Jennie came in. Event management is all about attention to detail and this was mastered with ease.

The afternoon was a great success! The opportunity to network was well received and we are still working with many of the people who attended the event. Feedback suggested that it was a great way to raise the profile of our new business and it was an engaging and enjoyable way to spend an afternoon.”
