Making a Buzz at Nonna’s
Thank you to all of you who came along to our website launch party at Nonna’s Aperitivi Bar in Sheffield.
We hope you all had a lovely time!
As an Events Planner, I know that an excellent event depends first and foremost on finding the right venue. Nonna’s provided the ideal venue and deluxe atmosphere for our little soiree with the perfect balance of tasty food and drink provided by Nonna’s and bohemian violin played by musician extraordinaire Wendy Dickinson.
Blush Cupcakes once again provided us with delightfully decorated cupcakes to match the Hansley Beard branding and magician Jared Manley wowed guests with his magic effects and psychological illusions.
Our wonderful website was created by the fabulous husband and wife team, Andy and Bea Marshall, (with me on the left below), from Moogaloo
When planning my website, I knew I wanted it to have beautiful visuals and design, but I wasn’t sure I’d be able to find a company that had both the creative vision and the technical expertise to make it happen. Once I found Moogaloo I knew straight away that they were the people I wanted to work with. Moogaloo like working with creative people to design adventurous, engaging and intriguing websites. I am over the moon at the finished result.
This week was Migraine Awareness Week so we also used the opportunity to support national charity Migraine Action which provides information and support to thousands of migraineurs throughout the country. Lee Tomkins, Director of Migraine Action, attended the party:
“Migraine Action was delighted to attend the event to help raise awareness of this much misunderstood condition which affects one in eight people. We are very grateful to Hansley Beard and guests at the event for their support and money raised during the evening will help Migraine Action to continue its work supporting people with migraine across the UK.”
A ‘Tackling Migraine Together’ meeting organised by Migraine Action and The Migraine Trust will take place at the Gateway Meeting Place in Sheffield, on Saturday 17th October 2009, between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. Anyone with an interest in migraine is welcome. Cost: £10 includes lunch and refreshments. To book your place please see the website www.migraine.org.uk/events or call 0116 275 8317.
Thank you to everyone who donated prizes for our raffle for Migraine Action:
Congratulations to all of our winners!
